Supplier Code of Conduct
Samhwa Co., Ltd. has established this Code of Conduct to build a healthy and sustainable supply chain together with its partners.
1. Overview
1.1. Purpose - The aim is to create a safe working environment, respect employees' human rights, and practice environmental responsibility and ethical management to foster a sustainable supply chain.

1.2. Standards of Conduct - This Code is based on the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child,
and the core conventions set forth by the International Labour Organization (ILO).

1.3. Scope and Requirements - All partners must comply with this Code and are encouraged to promote equal human rights management, safety, health, environmental,
and ethical standards and responsibilities to their secondary and tertiary suppliers.
2. Ethical Management
2.1. Compliance Management - Partners shall not offer any form of bribes or improper favors, nor engage in any actions that undermine fair business practices.
They must strictly adhere to relevant laws such as the Fair Trade Act and the Anti-Graft Act during commissioned work and continuously conduct related training to foster ethical awareness.

2.2. Information Security - Partners must absolutely respect trade secrets and must not disclose any confidential business or technical information obtained through transactions without prior approval.
They should also avoid any arbitrary distortion or dissemination of false information regarding any information acquired in connection with their work.

2.3. Responsible Procurement of Raw Materials - Partners must assess social and environmental issues related to serious human rights violations and
negative environmental impacts that may occur during the production and distribution processes of raw materials.
3.Human Rights Management
3.1. Non-Discrimination - Partners should strive to create workplaces free from illegal discrimination and harassment based on race, age, gender, ethnicity, disability, religion,
or nationality in employment practices such as promotion, compensation, and training opportunities.

3.2. Harassment Prohibition - Partners must respect all employees and protect them from physical, verbal, sexual, or psychological harassment, abuse, or threats.

3.3. Prohibition of Child Labor - Partners must not employ child labor in any manufacturing processes, adhering to the minimum working age as defined by domestic laws.

3.4. Working Hours - Partners must not exceed the maximum working hours set by domestic laws regarding workdays and hours.

3.5. Wages and Benefits - Partners must comply with all wage-related laws concerning minimum wage, overtime pay, and legally mandated benefits for employee compensation.

3.6. Freedom of Association - Partners must respect employees' freedom of association and right to collective bargaining.
4. Safety and Environmental Management
4.1 Safety Management Partners must comply with international standards such as ISO 45001 as well as domestic laws and best practices for employee safety and health.

4.2 Environmental Management Partners must comply with international standards such as ISO 14001 as well as domestic laws and best practices for environmental management.
